When we first met with Heather & Jimmy to discuss photographing their wedding, I couldn’t help but noticed how they glowed with love for one another. The way they told their story of how they met and fell in love gave me that same warm and fuzzy feeling I always get when watching some of my favorite movies like When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail, or Sleeping Beauty (I’m such a sucker for Disney movies).

This couple was an absolute DREAM to photograph, and not because we have amazing cameras, or the light just so happened to be in the right place at the right time; but, they photographed so beautifully, because their love is beautiful. Jimmy admits that he’s a complete romantic, and his love for his beautiful bride speaks loudly through these photographs (and ladies, lemme tell ya- the way he looks at Heather makes Edward Cullen’s love for Bella seem like child’s play). Heather mentioned how she had always dreamed of a Spring wedding, but their ideal venue wasn’t available for their ideal date, so they ended up with a Fall wedding instead. Heather loves warm weather, sun flare (our favorite), and everything associated with dreamy radiance. Having a pristine, gorgeous venue like Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens really makes it easy to manipulate your surroundings to what you’d like to portray. I kept Heather’s love of warmer seasons in mind when choosing locations for our portraits, and I’m really pleased with how we not only captured the warmth of the day, but the emotions as well.

We are so, SO honored to have photographed this celebration of Heather & Jimmy’s love for one another, and not only fell in love with them as a couple, but their families and friends as well! Thank you to all the friends, family, and the amazing vendors who made this day possible- and Heather & Jimmy- we love you both! xoxo – Lauren & Ted
