Sandie and Chris met in college, and their love has taken them from the hills of North Carolina all the way to Houston, Texas where Sandie works for probably my most favorite store in the world- ANTHROPOLOGIE, and Chris for Toshiba. Yes. I refer to Sandie as my “Anthro Bride”. She makes my heart happy!

We met up with Sandie & Chris in Sandie’s home town, Hickory, NC, and got to know each other over some delicious local coffee at Taste Full Beans (I HIGHLY recommend their white chocolate macadamia nut dark roast- YUMMMM).

We wandered the streets of Hickory, enjoyed some yummy sandwiches at Groucho’s Deli downtown, and then headed up to J&A Orchard for some Fall-inspired orchard lovin’.

We’re SO excited for Sandie & Chris’s wedding next April at Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, NC.

Fun Facts::

1. Chris proposed to Sandie in Colorado (he booked a sleigh ride with hot cocoa and a bonfire for two! HOW ROMANTIC!)

2. Sandie spends some of her free time as a ghost hunter (how cool is THAT?!)

3. When she was younger, Sandie would do some flat-footing to local bluegrass music (we heart this). Wondering what that is? Check it out:: ( I can only hope Sandie will break out some of these moves at the wedding!)

4. Chris is one of eight children in his family from the Philippines AND..they will be making the trip to NC for their wedding! Can’t wait to meet them!

Here are a few of our favorites from our time together:: ENJOY!

    Loved seeing these photos. Sandie has turned into such a beautiful young woman and it’s so nice to see her so happy. I wish her and Chris a lifetime of happiness together. I know that Mom would have been so happy for her, too. She loved Sandie very much.
